I have worked with Juanita for three of my five pregnancies and births, and each time felt supported, cared for, and like she had my best interests at heart. She is so knowledgeable and comforting, which made it easy to trust her when in the throes of labor. She is easily one of the first people I turn to when I have questions about my newborn, postpartum, and breastfeeding as well. If you're feeling on the fence about whether or not you need a doula, hire Juanita! You won't regret it and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!

I have to start with a simple thank you to Juanita. Truly—thank you. Next, a word of advice: hire her. Unless I need her again… in which case, I call dibs! I planned a natural birth without pain medication, and Juanita’s support beforehand was invaluable. She filled in knowledge gaps, eased my anxieties, and helped me feel genuinely prepared. When labor began, I was able to focus fully on my contractions while Juanita and my husband handled everything else—both at home and once we arrived at the hospital. As a first-time mom, I was fortunate to have a short labor, and Juanita’s counter pressure techniques and position suggestions made an enormous difference. Her calm presence gave me the confidence and peace I didn’t know I needed. And then there’s the postpartum support—wow. Juanita is a mind reader, a baby whisperer, and the kind of person who quietly makes everything better. I’m certain I recovered more quickly and felt more confident as a new mother because of her care. If you’re even considering a doula, stop scrolling and book Juanita. She’s a gift.

Juanita was our birth doula at our recent birth for our 4th baby and I wish I could have had her for all my births!! Not only does she offer the birth support during labor, but we also really appreciated all of her knowledge and the prenatal appointments. My husband also commented on how much more at ease he felt during the whole labor process knowing that Juanita would be there for me (and that all the support wasn’t just on his shoulders). I really think that Juanita’s knowledge and support put me in the best place physically and mentally to have my best birth experience by far! So thankful!! 💛

Juanita and Yolanda were extremely supportive during my postpartum journey. They both showed a high level of professionalism during and after their doula/night nurse services were performed. All of my questions were answered with great care and concern. They cared for my baby as if he was there own child. I highly recommend!

We were fortunate to have Andrea care for our newborn during the night for 8 weeks. Andrea was wonderful and we felt like she became a close confidant and friend over the course of our time together! She was so patient with us/our schedule and was excellent with our daughter. I don’t think we would have survived without her.

I used Juanita for my first pregnancy and she was absolutely fantastic. She helped me navigate my birth options and how to be medically informed to make the best decisions for me. I cannot express the weight it took off my shoulders knowing I would have someone who can help me advocate for myself. I cannot recommend her enough!

Juanita - As a new dad, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Thankfully, Juanita did. She helped us prepare before the birth, kept my wife calm (and maybe me too), and was right there on delivery day. I’m convinced the reason labor was short and smooth is because Juanita was in the room. And after that? She became family. For three months, she’s been with us overnight, helping us figure out how to keep a tiny human alive and somewhat happy. She’s taught us how to swaddle, soothe, and survive. Our baby adores her. Our two big dogs love her. Honestly, I think even the dishwasher runs better when Juanita’s here. She somehow leaves every morning with clean bottles, clean laundry, and a calm baby—despite spending hours giving rhythmic butt pats that should qualify as a CrossFit workout. Bottom line: Juanita is kind, steady, wise, hilarious, and magical with babies. If I could give her six stars, I would. We’ll never forget what she’s done for our family.
