I visited the Carter’s store on October 18, 2025, around 4:04 PM, and had one of the most disappointing shopping experiences I’ve ever encountered. While completing my purchase, the sales associate named David added three pairs of tights ($10.50 each, totaling $31.50 before tax) to my order without my consent while I briefly stepped away (only a few feet from the register). This was extremely concerning and felt deceptive. I immediately spoke to a part-time supervisor, who assured me she would leave a detailed message for the store manager to review the camera footage. When I later called to follow up, the manager initially dismissed the situation as an error or “something left at the register,” despite my clear explanation that there were no other items and the store was slow. Only after I insisted did he agree to check the cameras. He told me I could just “come back and do a return,” which was frustrating and dismissive, especially since I live an hour away. No apology, no accountability — just inconvenience for a customer who was wronged. This experience has completely changed how I view Carter’s. It’s upsetting to see such unethical behavior and lack of urgency in addressing it. I will not be shopping at this location again unless this issue is taken seriously. I found some great deals. Got some cute outfits for a great price for my bffs baby. I would definitely return.

I love some of their clothes for my kids and other family members. The prices are a bit steep and I don't personally feel they are quite worth that much. The shoes and boots wear very fast. I also experienced the pre black Friday sale which turned out to be a complete waste of time. It was very misleading, the staff was rude, and it was not worth a 2 hour wait. This store has some good clothing options but the prices are just too high for okay quality in merchandise.

Staff is very unfriendly and not welcoming, made my shopping experience very uncomfortable. They should be taught how to properly greet customers instead of profiling people and staring. Very odd staff

My wife went to the store to buy an outfit for my daughter and two male workers or store managers were constantly looking at her. They where greeting other customers but not to her. My wife is Hispanic, I don't know if they were racist, but my wife doesn't want to go back to that store. They were looking at her like she was stealing something.

I really enjoy the clothing at this store, but my reason for a one star review is, everytime I walk in, the female manager is always very rude to me for no reason. She knows me becaue I used to work at the store next to her but I've never had enough contact with her for her to be the way she is. I just now walked out almost in tears because I was looking at easter clothes for my two year old son and she looks at me, looks away and says to her coworker, "omg, it's Rachel." With such disgust in her voice. So I just turned my back and left. I don't remember her name, but I know her husband's name is Jared Jeffers. I know she's a manager because she gave me 50% discount once when I was pregnant with my son.. she makes me feel so unwelcome.

My wife bought six outfits for each of my granddaughters there for a little over $120. Cute outfits for the summer months for around $10 each is a deal.

Great quality clothing for kids! They always have sales and coupons so you can find deals all the time. Definitely a plus when clothing multiple children!
