Ardent Preschool & Daycare

My daughter loved her time there. The teachers are very caring and thoughtful. The facility was always clean and well maintained. They had plenty of toys for the babies and managed the baby to teacher ratio well. They use an app for communication with parents which was super helpful. Security was also great. I would 10/10 recommend this facility to anyone looking for expert care for their child.

Our child left this school over a year ago, and honestly, if I could, I would give it a zero. The turnover was absolutely insane—teachers were changing almost every month, sometimes even twice in one month. I often saw young people being interviewed in the surveillance room during pick-up and drop-off. Such high turnover is especially harmful to sensitive children. Just as our child began to build trust and a sense of safety with a teacher, that teacher would be replaced. What’s worse, I personally witnessed a teacher grabbing a child by the collar and throwing them from one cot to another. I have no idea what the child could’ve possibly done to deserve that kind of treatment. I pulled my child out of the school immediately after. I stand by everything I’ve said here and am willing to take legal responsibility for it.

I recently pulled my daughter from this school. We had been going for a little over a year. While everything and everyone seems to be nice and professional to the general public, the way the teachers speak to and discipline the children is totally uncalled for. My child came home with bruises on her arm this week from a teacher grabbing her. I requested to watch the footage from her class room. After reviewing the footage, it clearly shows the teachers yelling at the children and keeping personal blankets (approved item to bring for nap time) away from them during nap time and grabbing my child with such a grip that caused bruises that were clearly adult hand marks. The school then tried to use the termination of the teacher that put bruises on my daughter as a bargaining chip to keep my daughter enrolled and to make us happy. After telling the school I was not allowing my daughter to return to the school they pulled the teacher for "kitchen duty". They have not terminated the teacher. What's more important? Having a body that shows up to work or making sure this type of careless abuse doesn't happen to another child This happened in the PreK 1 classroom. My daughter is 3 years old. The amount of emotional, mental and now physical abuse at this school is not acceptable. The high tuition rate does not guarantee your child's mental, emotional and physical well-being. ****After making this review the school announced the termination of said teacher. While this threat has been removed, its concerning that it had to be taken this far for action to be taken. This situation has left an impact on our family for years to come.

AVOID at all costs! My kids are still recovering from their time at this school. When I raised concerns about their mental/emotional health and lack of learning growth both teachers and the administration (local and central office) repeatedly dismissed me. When I asked about following the policies and procedures, the administration responded in ways that ignored the signed policies issued by Ardent and signed by me, the parent. Prospective families need to know that the school has a policy reserving the right to remove families for posting negative online reviews.

Can’t recommend them enough. As a mom, my daughter is the most important thing in the world to me. I wouldn’t want her at just any daycare. She’s been at Ardent for years now and we love it. Everyone that works there is great. The facility is beautiful and clean. The curriculum is excellent. It’s conveniently located right by where my husband and I work. Our family is very happy with it!

UPDATED: During the first year of attending we had no issues and our review below was 100% true. However, over the past year we have had TONS of issues. Our trust in the management was lost, high teacher turnover rate, zero communication about who is in the classroom with your child, as well as other issues we noticed. The teachers we have had have been amazing, our concerns are not with them. Overall the facility is clean (when looking at it), however they have multiple major outbreaks in illnesses all year. We have since left this facility and are skeptical to recommend to others. Being first time parents Ardent has completely eased our minds for leaving our baby at daycare. All the staff are extremely friendly and greet you when you arrive and leave, they also know our son by name greeting him! The building is extremely clean and inviting. We are extremely happy with our decision choosing Ardent to be part of our son’s life!

We have had such a positive experience with Ardent Preschool-Redstone over the past few years as our two boys have attended. The teachers have been so caring and easy to work with. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they do a great job keeping you informed of changes/updates to the center or classrooms. We would definitely recommend Ardent to families.

We absolutely love Ardent. I could not say enough good things about the teachers. You can see that they truly care about their babies. We love Brooke, Charlie, Tasia, and Isabella. Every teacher my son has had so far is wonderful. I am so relieved that I feel 100% comfortable dropping my son off everyday. This daycare has been a blessing.
