I had a positive experience with Kendra and Joan. They are empathetic, hardworking, and made me feel cared for during my visits. The office is also efficient when it comes to paperwork and organization, which I appreciated. However, my overall experience with the clinic was not positive. My primary challenges are PCOS and weight, and over the years I felt the protocols I was given did not consistently support progress toward pregnancy. I often felt stifled and that my care was not tailored to my specific situation. Unfortunately, I did not achieve success during my time here. That said, I believe this clinic has the ability to provide a very positive experience for the right person, especially if their needs align with the standard protocols offered.

Dr. Davenport is thorough and listens to you. His Staff is very precise with their work and knowledgeable in explaining each step along Fertility treatment can be an emotional rollercoaster, but having a team like this in your corner makes all the difference. We’re beyond grateful for their dedication, precise work and unwavering support. If you’re looking for a fertility clinic that treats you like a person, not a number—this is the place.

We love, love, love FINA! Our journey started at another fertility clinic closer to us and after the first appointment we just felt lied to and just a number. It was this clinics way or the highway. So we took the highway and drove 3+ hrs to FINA who was recommended to us from a friend of a friend. Let me tell you that commute was well worth it. Right away we could tell this place was different. They genuinely care and want you to achieve your goals to expand your family. All the staff are so nice and helpful. Joan is absolutely fantastic! Dr. D takes the time to listen to you and explain things and the options available. A little under a year after we started with FINA we have our little boy in our arms. No question if you are making a decision on which fertility clinic to use definitely pick Fertility Institute of North Alabama. You will not be disappointed. We are so very thankful for them!

I’m not sure how Dr. Davenport has so many positive reviews. After my difficult fertility journey, he was impersonal and offered little reassurance or support. I have had multiple appointments with him. Initially, I tried to be understanding, assuming his lack of warmth was due to being accustomed to seeing patients experience infertility and loss—but I’ve come to believe that’s simply his personality. He didn’t take the time to thoroughly answer my questions, and I left every appointment feeling hopeless. When you’re dealing with something as emotionally and physically difficult as fertility struggles, you want a doctor to give you hope that he’ll be able to help you or even give the impression he wants to help. He was never thorough with explaining all my tests. This is the type of doctor that gives male fertility doctors a bad name. If something doesn’t feel quite right with him, trust your gut and switch providers. I regret choosing him just for the convenience.

We graduated from Fertility Institute of North Alabama this morning. It is a bittersweet day. We are so thankful for the staff at FINA- for always listening to our concerns, helping make a game plan and helping us start our family. ❤️ We pray no one ever goes through infertility, but if you do, we couldn’t recommend FINA enough.

My husband and I went together for appointments at 10 am. We both had lab work and I had a minor diagnostic procedure. We were back in our vehicle by 10:25!! Very prompt, kind, and professional staff. They literally walk you step by step through everything. We also love the fact that they offer Zoom meetings, as we live 2 hours away and they are very understanding of that. Dr. Davenport had a care plan for the next four months mapped out for us on our very FIRST meeting with him. We genuinely got questions answered, care provided, and plans for moving forward. We highly recommend!

Fertility institute of north Alabama was there for us through our infertility journey. They were there with us for the lowest lows and the highest highs. They had optimism even when I didn’t and I don’t know if I could have continued without their encouragement. I will always be grateful for Dr Davenport, Joan, Kendra, Audra, Katie, River, Taryn, Julie and everyone else at the office. I wasn’t just a patient, they cared about me as a person. Graduating from the clinic was a bittersweet experience, because I was so thankful for my pregnancy, but how could I do it without them cheering us along? I will always be thankful for the experience I had with them and the journey that brought us our twins.
