Alpine canine is awesome. They trained my dog and he is doing amazing. He holds his commands as he should until told to “break.” Alpine was very flexible and willing to work with me on dates that weren’t great for them. They also sent countless photos and videos. Highly recommend

I got my dog from the humane society and I didn’t realize it at the time (he was ~10 months old when I adopted him) but he had clearly been abused in some way and it took awhile for him to open up fully and feel safe. He is very sweet and loves people, but you can tell he gets scared and then reactive (especially when I first got him not really no since he’s been consistently training for so long). It’s not out of aggression, but it was still such a stress for me to deal with at times. No matter what I tried or did (and I grew up with dogs so I’m not completely clueless) I couldn’t get him to truly listen and whenever he’d see a dog he’d bark like crazy and lunge/pull on his leash, chase squirrels and almost drag me down with him, and when I’d open my door and he would charge out-and if a dog was there he was barking and pulling on the leash making me look like a clown. Alicia, the owner, has literally worked miracles with my dog. The difference is night and day. When investing in something like dog training it’s vital to integrate what you learn in the sessions into your everyday life and keep up the training with the dog. My dog no longer pulls on his leash and on the occasion that he does he listens to me now and I’m able to fully rein him in. He’s much less anxious and I can tell he trusts me more since we’ve been seeing Alicia for training. Dogs love discipline and to have strict rules because it makes them feel safe, especially a dog like mine who’s been abused. Alicia is very caring and professional. Will treat your dog like her own and will really do everything she can. She’s always been super transparent and helpful too. I literally I can’t stress enough how stressed I would feel getting ready to walk my dog and getting anxious seeing other dogs and avoiding them because of his barking and reactivity and leash pulling and Alicia has made that a thing of the past. Our walks are leisurely and peaceful now. It’s literally taken so much stress off me and I even my dog too. Priceless work. You can tell Alicia is doing something she was born to do.

Alicia is amazing!! I told her that she is the dog version of super nanny 🤣… She did a wonderful job helping us get control of our wild little doodle boy and gave us great instructions and all of the tools that we need to continue implementing his training at home. While he was in her care she was able to train him to follow and hold commands... He used to be so much chaos and he barked all the time at every little sound when we were at home- so far he’s been much calmer and no barking at sounds at all! A motorcycle drove by earlier, and that used to set him off barking for hours… he heard it and looked up for the sound but didn’t make a peep…. Just went back to relaxing on his place. We are so impressed! I took him for a walk and he used to pull the entire way… he kept the leash loose and listened to me when I changed directions or asked him to stop and sit… such a good boy! Our kids took him out back and played with him and they were running and that used to be an invitation for our dog to go tackle them… he ran and played with them but didn’t take them down and when he did get a little rowdier than I’d like him to be, I gave commands and he actually listened to me! I was thrilled to see that he still has his spunky and energetic personality but without all the chaos… he’s still our boy but now he has manners and my husband and I agree that he seems so more confident in himself and happier… there’s no more stress for him of not knowing what we want him to do or why we are frustrated! If you need a good dog trainer- Alicia with Alpine is worth every penny!!

My dog Bonsai did a 3 week board and train with Alicia and I’m so happy with the results!! I already see so much progress with my dog’s behaviour, she really laid down the foundation and gave me the tools to continue helping my dog be the best she can be. I felt so relieved knowing my dog was in good hands, she really did treat her like one of her own and found what worked best for her! I definitely reccomend her training programs to anyone who is looking for a little help with their dogs, you won’t regret it!

We were having difficulty with our two pitties. They were pulling on walks, not listening, just generally misbehaving. Alicia recommended a 3 week board and train. After 3 weeks, she returned 2 well behaved and well mannered dogs. She took the time to explain our role in maintaining all of her hard work and after having them back for 3.5 months we are still enjoying the benefits of that 3 week training. What a difference!!! She doesn’t have the same plan for each dog. She takes the time to get to know each dog and adjusts her training accordingly. We would recommend her again and again. We have also used her boarding services and really love knowing they are well taken care of when we can’t be there. Thanks Alpine Canine 💜

Alicia is amazing!! She takes such good care of the dogs while training. Great communication! Wonderful pricing! My pups love her and the alpine canine team! I couldn’t even walk my dogs on a leash before meeting Alicia, now I can take them pretty much anywhere. I am so thankful for Alpine Canine!
