Big Blue Marble Academy Capshaw

1 year after my original rating, I still give a 5 star rating! Our 2-year old son is always happy to go to school and always has a smile on his face when we check him out. That speaks volumes to us! The Director and front desk staff are attentive to both my child and myself when in their presence. Always cheerful, good customer service skills with parents, and it appears the new director is making positive changes at the school!

My son has always loved going to this daycare since they opened! All of the staff and teachers have been so welcoming and have grown close to my son and our family! Always tell my family or friends about this place because it’s unmatched!

Big Blue Marble is one of the best childcare centers I have found. This is my second child and after seeing how early education is done at BBM I regret not finding them sooner for my first child. The former director Ms. Dejunna is a partner to parents, she runs a tight ship and it's evident that my child is supported and all safety measures are in place. The staff and morale of the team is always upbeat and refreshing. I couldn't ask for my child to be in a better place, unless it's home with mommy.

My experience here at Big Blue Marble wasn’t the best. When it came to communication it was lacked. My son was kicked out of the school for issues that could’ve been resolved. It seems as though the teacher nor the director even tried to put their best foot forward to help my son. Also, my son hurt himself while at school multiple times and I never received a notification saying when it happened, or even where it happened at inside the school. I hope that they hire more individuals that has more experience dealing with children rather than removing a child out of the school. Also, realistically, how do you expect for a 2 year to get comfortable with a teacher if he was being bounced around from classroom to classroom. They never even tried to build a relationship with my son. Not to mention, they’re very dismissive to what you have going on as a parent. When I was telling them things seemed like it went in one ear and out the other.

We have had the best experience at BBMA! Our son’s teachers are amazing! The director and assistant directors are wonderful.

I can’t say enough great things about BBMA capshaw ! The infant class has the most amazing teachers who truly care for the children like their own. From day one, they have been warm, nurturing, and attentive, making the transition so much easier. They provide a safe and loving environment where I can see the little ones thriving every day. The communication is excellent—I always get updates and pictures, which bring me so much peace of mind. I am beyond grateful for the incredible care they provide, and I highly recommend BBMA capshaw to any parent looking for a place that truly prioritizes their child’s well-being and development!

The staff at Big Blue Marble (Capshaw) is amazing. I received assistance from Ms. Kirsten and Mrs. Dejunna during the enrollment process for my child! The trunk or treat for Halloween was fantastic! Every question I asked gets a prompt response from them. Special thanks to all of you.
