Connie Hudson Mobile Regional Senior Community Center

First time visit a few days ago, and I've lived in Mobile area for nine years, senior citizen for 9 years if you count 55 as start of it. This Center supports 55-plus age group. It is a really nice place to hang out, meet friends, play cards, do Pickle ball, We-Bowl, art classes, therapeutic swimming pool, weights and fitness room, computers, daily events and scheduled activities, and a delicious daily menu café. All is free except you pay average for meals. Standard daytime hours Monday thru Friday.

For any seniors that want to have a fun workout, arts and crafts, excerise room. A whole lot more everything other than the food they prepare is free. I would recommend it.

It was really a nice place. Have to admit, I never heard of chicken spaghetti? But it was ok. Would have been nice to have regular spaghetti and meatballs. But the place was exceptionally clean and really great people really enjoyed it Thank you.

I find the food there very blah. It is edible and cheap. It is always clean and all of the employees are very nice and helpful.

As usual the staff is very helpful. There are many classes and you pick up a calendar at the desk. The restaurant is open till 3pm and has very reasonable prices. There is a weekly list of food items offered each day. The fitness center is small and not attended so be sure to clean your exercise equipment before using it. Remember you must be registered to use this facility and you can do this at the reception desk. Then use your chip card and swipe in each time you come in. You must also have their doctor's form filled out once a year to use the fitness center or thermal pool. Seniors are so lucky to have this facility!

I love this place. They are closed now because of Covid19. But when they were open, I enjoyed the gym, the art class, the pool room, and the dance classes. They even have a cafeteria that's open to the public. They have a hot pool, and clean shower rooms with lockers. There is always something going on here and other events at different locations. Once you sign up you're allowed to visit all the other centers and participate there also.

There are classes for writing, dancing, bowling, ( virtual) and so many more. It is clean, well taken care of and staff go out of their way to help. I do weight lifting and writing classes as well as I eat there every day. Price for food is 6.50 or 5.75 if you purchase coupons in advance. They do not go bad , useable any day. It is much better than my cooking or eating out at most fast food and most restaurants.
