The Birthing Suites at Springhill

I cannot begin to explain how positive and supportive the team here is at Springhill. I met a lot of people in a short amount of time and have so many positive things to say about each and every person here. I’m extremely grateful to Dr. Dix who delivered my son this week. Not only was he extremely communicative during my birth, but even during my pregnancy. Whenever I had a question he answered it directly and always had options or if there wasn’t an option, he made sure to explain why not and made me feel confident and sure in every decision I made. Charity took care of us at intake the first night and helped so much with helping experiment different techniques to help progress us along and continued to be such a help during part of recovery too. My biggest thank you is to Kailan and Kadie Grace who were both the biggest reasons why I was able to have the birth I knew I wanted. Kailan went above and beyond during my labor, providing support, encouragement, and guidance throughout a very painful and vulnerable time. The second I went into labor I felt a huge sense of peace and knew that God had carefully and thoroughly hand picked the team that was at our side for this birth. I have never felt so strong and supported I think ever in my life. And I will never stop singing the praises of the Springhill team as long as I live. Of course there are so many more people who helped and cared for us. But I unfortunately am not great with names but I know I will always remember the experience and how amazing it was. Again thank you to the moon and back. Yall are my favorite people 😂❤️

Every single nurse I had here during a 4 day and night stay after birth was truly INCREDIBLE. My nurses affirmed me, helped me in every way they could medically, and had the absolute best bed side manner! My doctor, Dr. Helen Rogers was truly beyond amazing during my pregnancy and during birth. She advocated for me, listened to me, and so did every single one of my nurses aside from one. I really couldn’t have had a better experience giving birth. Thank you to the nurses at Spring Hill Birthing Suites.

I delivered all three of children there. I love the birthing suits (especially the toilets). The nurses are God-sent, and the food is great. They went the extra mile and even helped me by watching the baby in the nursery sometimes so I can rest. I couldn’t see myself delivering anywhere else.

I will only give 3 stars because out of the two labor nurses I had, when I was in labor back in July, only one truly listened to me and took me seriously. The nurse I had overnight was not warm and helpful and treated me as if she didn't want to be bothered. She was cold to me when I was afraid of getting my epidural and after the anesthesiologist had a hard time placing the catheter. I cannot remember the day time nurse's name but she was my superhero and she made my labor and delivery much easier. She listened to me, was very kind, and took me seriously. During my pregnancy I was told how I would be pampered and waited on hand and foot. My post psrtem and baby nurss were awesome and I guess that made up for it.

Katen, care tech, came in my wife’s birthing suite and changed all the linen for her at 10 PM. She was very nice and professional. Thank you for your help!

I would never deliver any where else. Wish I would have had my first 2 babies here. Food was great, nurses were wonderful. Brand new birthing suites. The toilet was the best, I'm not kidding, either.. go have an epistemology, chime back and talk to me, tell me those bidets seats aren't the best..

I would rather go to any other hospital in Mobile than this one. My husband had surgery and was in there for a few days. They expected him to call for his meals - there was no way he could do that in the state his was in. I was not able to be there with him 24/7 and had to call the nursing station to make sure someone could take his food order. It is ridiculous that they expect the patient - especially the ones that are immobile to call using the phone for meals. The nurses were nice enough but he pretty much took care of himself as much as he could. They would only check on him every once in awhile. He opted to leave early because he would've gotten better care at home. In a better note, his surgery went well, but time will tell on whether or not it helps his medical condition.

I loved the care my Dr Lambrecht gave me. The nurse was great, took good care of me and my son. The only down side I was unable to see the lactation nurse which I request plenty of times to see before I went home.
