USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital : Emergency Department

My daughter has cancer so we have been to the ER a lot back home. This is by far the best ER experience we have had. Also the fastest to get results back.

Taken my child twice both times being sent home with no information as to what was wrong after waiting 3+ hours both times. They break fevers, collect money, and send people home with sick kids and no information. Get better staff and treat these kids like they're your own, not just a walking paycheck.

This hospital is very good for taking care of your little ones. Have taken our children here numerous times and they have always been kind in helping our family. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because communication could be a bit better at times and the whole metal detector thing is , I think unnecessary.

Horrible horrible er Waited half an hour to get out of waiting room then they stuck me an a room with no bed and waited almost 2 hours just for someone to show up and tell me they can't do anything

Hospital is sad. Took wife for a MRI and after going through the baggage scanner and lifting my shirt to make sure I’m not packing heat and having my ID scanned were sent to the wrong location. Sat in the wrong lobby for 30 minutes. Couldn’t ask for help because radiology desk was closed. We finally got to patient access. They ask you ssn in front of strangers sitting around you.

This is one of the absolute nastiest hospitals in Alabama. Took our son into the emergency room he had severe ear pain and was screaming with it. We were taken to the back after going through the door left in a waiting room 20 minutes went by we never saw a sole at the desk finally to to triage only to be asked why we would bring him to the er for ear pain but considering it was Saturday and we couldn’t get a peds appt plus he had been on medicine it’s our discretion not the rude nurse. We were then sent back to the waiting room while our toddler is still crying to be told it will be 45 minutes or more. The staff is rude they do not wear gloves they are more worried with playing on phones and doing school work. DO NOT take your kids here they obviously don’t clean it correctly

I brought my son here for an MRI. He’s 2 and they would not let me stay with him until he was sedated, which terrified him. After the procedure, they would not let both parents see him. The general vibe is “I just work here”. The whole experience was very unnerving. I won’t let my child be seen here again.

This place literally sucks my little girl had a gash in the top of her head and we wait 4 hours before even been seen!!! You guys are a pure pathetic joke and I pray it isn’t your kids who have to go through this
