Había recibido muchos comentarios acerca de lo horrible que era la experiencia en este hospital, muchas cosas malas, para mí gran y grata sorpresa desde la primera ocasión que fui ahí me trataron muy bien, fui a varios controles de frecuencia cardíaca de mi bebé durante mi embarazo y mi parto fue ahí también, la enfermera Andrea fue la luz en el camino, muy amable, atenta y compasiva durante mi parto, en el posparto ya en mi habitación Dora fue lo mejor que me pasó, hablando un poco de español para que practicará la ame totalmente, en general fue todo lo contrario a lo que me había dicho y estoy agradecida con ustedes por todo ✨✨✨

Excelente personal y atención agradecido con el servicio q mi brindaron a pesar de mi bajos recursos eso no fue ningún problema y me trataron super bien me operaron y la recuperación excelente que Dios bendiga cada doctor enfermera y persona q forma parte de esta hermoso hospital bendiciones para todos 🙏

If you are anywhere close. Remeber this phrase, " if at all possible, take me to Baptist South!" I was unable to say this phrase but thankfully, they took me there. Never before have I had such level of care from a hospital that I knew no one that worked there. They literally treat you like family. They want to make sure you are cared for in the best possible way. The staff is so caring and attentive. The doctors listen and treat you like you are family. If at any time in the future if I need care, this is where I will get it.

The wait time was seven hours because the ER was over capacity, dealing with multiple trauma cases, and packed with patients, likely due to the economy and people losing access to benefits. I completely understand how overwhelming that can be, but what happened next was unacceptable. After waiting for seven hours, my mom, who has congestive heart failure and several other serious health issues, was basically brushed off. They gave her a quick exam, ran some labs, prescribed medication, and sent her home. Two days later, I looked up the medication they prescribed and was shocked because it was the complete opposite of what she needed for her condition. Not only was it inappropriate, but it actually made her symptoms worse. That level of negligence is terrifying, and it makes me wonder how many other patients were brushed off that same day. I get that the staff was tired and overwhelmed, but that does not excuse giving the wrong medication to a heart patient and sending her away without proper care. This matter will be escalated to the corporate team because what happened here is completely unacceptable.

Pre-op, cvicu, and surgical team all fantastic. 2nd floor icu Trace, Meredith and Brennan were exceptional. Melissa the patient care tech was a jewel. Transferred to 6th floor. Amanda and Katy were great! Some staff not as friendly. Food was inedible. Smelled sour. Even one of nurses agreed. Husband had to bring me peanut butter crackers and boiled eggs. Kitchen couldn't offer me anything (I am diabetic). So nurses gave me graham crackers and some peanut butter. I only ate 1 meal. I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal but I was expcting edible food. The anesthesia team were truly a blessing. So caring. I think the board of directors should pay a surprise visit and try to eat the food. Especially the mystery meat, English peas and 1/3 of a potato meal or the thumb size piece of chicken and pasta meal. Other than food was pleased with Baptist South staff. Thank you.

My experience was unacceptable. I was brought into the hospital in pain, and my room and bathroom were absolutely filthy—there was stool on my bed and the bathroom had visible dirt and grime. Staff showed no compassion or urgency about cleaning or addressing my needs. I felt disrespected, unsafe, and traumatized. No one should have to endure that kind of treatment.”

The nurses and PCT’s were outstanding including Fadxei? Not sure how to spell her name. She is from Zimbabwe. Also Janet my nurse on day shift was excellent. My care techs were top notch both Adrienne and Terra. On the day I was discharged my Nurse Chelsea worked hard to get my discharge so I could be home for the weekend. All the above mentioned went above and beyond to ensure I had a great patient experience.

Very good experience. It wasn’t wonderful spending 24 hours in ER but totally understandable and staff made things as comfortable as possible. Navigating through the hospital was really tough but again staff did their best to help often walking me to where I was trying to get to if it were easier to get there with an employee badge. As always the cath lab did a great job and the night in a room was great due to the staff. I’m a nurse and have never seen a group of professionals work so hard to keep the patients and families safe and happy. Thanks for the good care.
