I recently visited this store and was stereotyped and falsely accused of shoplifting, I visited this location Saturday August 16th around 9:30-10:30 and shopped in store for about 30-45 minutes while on my cellphone I noticed employees kept walking around watching me but I didn’t pay it any mind they also set off the monitoring alerts but I was not paying attention or thinking anything of it I was shopping for a birthday party & house hold items as well I paid for my items and once I got to the door an officer was standing outside he asked was that all I paid for I said yes and kept walking to my car he then said an employee said I put something in my purse I said excuse me my cellphone I then voluntarily opened my purse and let him looked inside and told him sir I am commissioned by the state of Alabama I don’t shop lift never judge someone by there appearance I assume because I was not dressed my best they thought I was shopping lifting it was so embarrassing and really rubbed me the wrong way no one apologized or anything. Just because someone isn’t dressed there best does not give someone the right to assume they are a theft !! This could have went left and ruined my life and background all because an employee decided to falsely profile me for a crime I did not commit !!!

more things need to be a dollar. otherwise people are nice that work there. every time some one goes in or out the door a disembodied voice announces that they have cameras and are being recorded

Nastiest store ever!!! I could barely shop with their whole truck in the middle of the aisle, on top of the mice shopping with me. There was a mop bucket full of dirty water in the aisle. I mentioned it to the employee, and she did not care nor did she go to move the bucket. The outside of the store isn’t even appealing. This all occurred on 10/26/24 at 8am & the employee I spoke with had curly hair & colored eyelashes.

Usually don't have any problems, but be sure you double check your digital coupons! Great place to shop especially if you're on a budget! Otherwise, be prepared to more than likely wait in a long line to check out. DG as a company is to cheap to put the money needed into payroll to hire enough employees.

I came from Atlanta to visit family and needed to stop at this store. The staff is extremely friendly and I appreciate that. Some of the stores in Atlanta have some of the RUDEST people in Dollar General and yes, I've complained about them. But here in Montgomery they are super nice people. Thanks :)

Dirty Cluttered Store , Sale prices are not updated in the System causing delays at the register ,asking me twice ,if the items on sale are actually on sale ! extremely rude and unfriendly cashier today ! People hanging around store asking for Money from customers all the time ! Unsafe Location! Never shopping there again .

Why have the option to get cash back and you never let people get cash back Always a sign saying no cash back Dollar General it’s always something with y’all stores And this is a new store so why the problems
