Gathering Place Christian Academy

My son has attended GPCA since he was 12 months. I was a little nervous about himattending day care. He is currently in k3. We love it. The staff has always treated my son like he was their own. The communication is amazing and I never have to worry about him while he’s there. My son has also received great instruction there. It was been a pleasure to see how much he has grown developmentally.

I’m not really sure what’s up with some of these reviews, but I can tell you hands down this place has been a huge blessing to our family. I have had three children enrolled in the school in various ages for the last 3 yrs. They’ve always been treated wonderfully. The staff know their names (of not only my children but their siblings), they’re excited to go to school, have fantastic friends, and are ahead of where their peers in public school stand. They have a love for the Lord and openly praise him. There are not enough words for how loving and sincere these staff members are to taking care of the kids in their care. I’m sad we’re moving or we would have stayed. I’m thankful the Lord led us here three years ago, my children will have these memories for a lifetime.

It's a trash place where parents are lied to about their children. They wonder why their child is sick when they allow extremely sick children to be around other children. The leadership there lied about certain kids, if something happened with another baby, they would say that their child was playing to rough with a friend, and no other information. Parents are wondering why are their children scarred. Be better. Don't go here. EDIT: Currently there has been no air conditioning and all parents have not been told this at all. Kids are overheating.

I dont know where to begin about this place. It truly has been an amazing experience not only for my daughter but with myself and interacting with the faculty here. Each and every individual truly has your child's best interests at heart. Watching my daughter grow and learn these last 15 months is remarkable and its all due to the dedication and and the love from the teachers and administrators. Definitely glad we found this place.

A large portion of the congregation is a close knit community. Those who are not are not ostracized but welcome to join. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The pastors are not a bunch of know it alls but seem to be in pursuit of truth. I went to an event the other night right after work. I smelled like a sweatsock but the pastor's wife treated me like a lifelong friend. The building was full of the joy of the Lord. I laughed myself to tears a couple of times. I left so refreshed and encouraged that I found myself looking forward to going back. By the way, I usually dislike church people.

Great place to have your children receive a Christ-centered education. The leadership is wonderful, competent, and focused on the safety, and well-being of your child.

My son has been here since 3k and every year is amazing. The teachers love on my son like their own. We plan on staying thru 8th grade and hopefully beyond!!
