They do a great job with online orders—accurate and get them out to the car quickly.. Appreciate that. Yet why can’t they stock decent peaches during peach season. Twice mine have been rotting inside and absolutely tasteless.

One of the nicest Safeways in Phoenix metro. Prices are high. But Safeway usually has better quality meat than you find elsewhere.

A solid four stars. The way they could earn five stars is if they'd open more cashier clerk checkout lanes, there's usually only one until later at night then none. Most of the employees are on the ball, very helpful and quick, this is our main store, no complaints regarding selection, stock, sales, etc. The only drawback is when the snowbirds wipe out all the sales items early in the morning during those times of year, but it's not Safeway's fault. Parking is always a cluster, may as well park further out, but it's nice when able to get a covered spot during the hot months!

Safeway has always been the friendly neighborhood place to get your consumer items. There is usually a helpful employee to assist you in whatever your need is and they are in overall, quite friendly. The parking lot is clean and clear of any unusual debris. Shaded parking, compliments to the solar paneling.

Its the biggest grocery store in town. It has almost everything. Everyone is very nice. They never run out of products on sale. There's a sushi bar and a starbucks with a large cozy sitting area. Baby Changing tables in the wheel chair restrooms stalls.

On Saturday, 7/19/25, this store (along with a couple of other locations, I believe) had a display of Albo Monsteras available for sale. If you're not a plant person, this is a very very rare, beautiful plant, and many plant lovers, including myself, have been waiting for an opportunity to obtain this plant at an affordable price for several years now. A post was made on Facebook in a private AZ houseplant group, which must've been seen by quite a few people that morning. I called the store and spoke with Macy from the floral department; I asked about the Albo Monsteras and she mentioned she had been answering calls regarding the Albo Monsteras for at least the past hour, due to the popularity of the Facebook post. Despite all the phone calls, Macy was extremely friendly, had a good sense of humor, and seemed to be in good spirits. She advised that, while people were coming in and purchasing 2-4 plants at a time, they still had about 30 to 40 plants left, and she encouraged us to come on by. When my husband and I got there, it was clear that the floral department was being put to work 😅 bringing additional plants out as more and more plants were sold, continuously rearranging and perfecting the display as customers would pick up/move the plants from the display without placing them back in the original spot, answering phone calls, assisting customers, etc. All of this said, they maintained a professional, friendly, neat/organized environment, and they handled everything with grace. I wanted to give a shoutout to the entire floral department, especially Macy, for doing a phenomenal job with the launch! I hope the store recognizes Macy and the rest of the floral department for their hard work and dedication to the store. They did an absolutely amazing job and deserve recognition and praise for all of their hard work! From what I've read in the Facebook group, it sounds like they sold the entirety of their Albo Monsteras in one day, which is amazing! Well done!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I am beyond impressed with how well this launch was handled. Plant people are crazy, and I know the day must've been hectic, but you all did amazing!! You should be proud of yourselves 🩷
