Great location. Can be busy, recommend making an appt online. Katharina went above and beyond to help me get my labs done today. I am so grateful. Would recommend. Just be aware they close for lunch so it’s best to come early or after!

If you happen to need blood drawn and are with Function Health, odds are you'll not be treated well. My experience at this location has never been very good and seems as soon as they hear function health they want nothing to do with you. My experience this morning was particularly bad. One woman whom I've seen every visit (twice a year) is always having a problem and always wants to blame everything else for why she's so unprofessional. Poor communication and ability to do their job. At this rate I'm willing drive out of town.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Called ahead of time to confirm that they received my orders from my doctor. Was told, "yes," so I made an appointment and arrived to then be told that they did NOT have my orders. After finally finding them, the tech complained endlessly about having to print them all out. She then promptly threw half of the order printouts into the trash rather than shredding them (which I believe violates HIPPA). I was just contacted by my doctor asking where the remainder of my test results are. I thought it was odd that my doctor told me I would need to fast but then the incompetent tech said it wasn't necessary. Turns out, the tech only completed three of the nine tests my doctor ordered. She was absolutely abysmal, turning what should've been a 10-minute visit into a 30-minute ordeal. I just called to ask whether they can complete the rest of the tests and the same tech answered the phone and told me she couldn't even check on my orders, which is a flat-out lie. I called ahead of my first visit and was given the same information no problem (even though it was inaccurate). Avoid this place.

I've been coming here for the past couple of years. I see all the negative reviews and couldn't disagree more. After consistently using other extremely busy Sonora Quest locations, I was happy to find such a calm location. Not only is this Fountain Hills location always very quiet, the staff is ALWAYS consistently friendly and professional. I'm usually in and out within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment. I've also never had any billing issues. There are other closer locations. However, this one is the best hidden secret. Keep up the great work! You will always have my business.

I arrived and tried to check in at the appointment terminal. It wanted a bar code and when I asked the receptionist ( heather) which barcode to use she snapped at me in a condescending way and was too lazy to get up and help me or help me with the checkin at her desk. I have used other Samara locations and never had issues. I sat for 30 minutes past my appointment time and then went to the desk to see if she would confirm my check in. She said “yes, I was just about to ask you for your orders. She could have done that when I was standing in front of her. 5 minutes later she asks me for my insurance card! On a better note, the technician who did my blood draw was awesome!!!

I have edited my 5 Star feedback dramatically from five years ago based on my experience today. This facility operates without a receptionist & utilizes a self serve kiosk. The tech who served me (Jova?) was hard to understand, curt & gave me the impression she disliked her job. While I have been to the SonoraQuest facility that operates in Honor Health Shea over a dozen times over the past two years, my insurance cards were not in their system in Fountain Hills. (?) The tech then asked for my cards & input them in their system manually in the blood draw room (as a result of no receptionist?). My assumption is that the techs handle every new patient's cards & a keyboard before drawing blood. This seems very unsanitary (she never changed gloves) & IMO puts all of the patients at increased infection risk.

Got me in and out right on time, quicker than other Sonora Quests i’ve been to in the Valley. I am super picky & anxious about draws & the tech was awesome. Very quick & no pain, always such a bonus! Will be back to this location for future tests, 5 stars!

BILLING WARNING!!!! The people that work here are nice, good service, no complaints there. HOWEVER I had a blood draw 5/2022. Have an invoice dated 11/2022 showing a balance due of $550, so I paid it 1/2023 "worried" because it says it's past due and will go to collections. I just found out my Health Share plan sent $151 toward this bill 8/2022 which is the adjusted price - nothing more due by me. The 11/2022 SQ invoice does NOT reflect this payment, although the check was sent 3 months prior. I then called Sonora Quest. The rep saw both payments. Said she would send the request to the Refunds Department to send me a check for the $550 I sent in January. I asked if it would have eventually worked it's way through the system to refund me? NO! She actually said NO - I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWNENT THEM $550 I DIDN'T HAVE TO; SONORA QUEST WOULD HAVE KEPT ALL $701! I hope she is wrong, but until I learn otherwise, this warning stands.
