What I experienced was not a simple procedure. It was a heavy experience, accompanied by physical and emotional pain. I don’t ask for pity or special treatment, but I do believe that clinics like this — because of the very nature of what they do — should train their staff, especially their doctors, so that every patient feels seen, heard, and supported. Thank you to those who did that. To those who didn’t, I’d like to remind you that professionalism is not incompatible with empathy. And that the difference between a safe clinic and a truly dignified one lies not only in the protocols, but in the human treatment. ___________________________________________________________ Lo que viví no fue un trámite. Fue una experiencia fuerte, acompañada de dolor físico y emocional. No exijo lástima, ni trato preferencial, pero sí creo que este tipo de clínicas por la naturaleza de lo que representan deben formar a su personal sobre todo a los doctores para que cada paciente se sienta vista, escuchada y contenida. Gracias a quienes sí lo hicieron. A quienes no, les recuerdo que el profesionalismo no está reñido con la empatía. Y que la diferencia entre una clínica segura y una verdaderamente digna, no está solo en los protocolos, sino en el trato.

was such a good experience- went in for my abortion consultation (ultrasound) and everyone was super nice! it was a quick process, despite how many people you’re required to talk to. i had never had an ultrasound before and was nervous for the wand but it truly was so easy, no pain, and i felt comfortable with all the staff. they were all super informative and helped me make the decision on which way i wanted to go about the abortion. although i didn’t get the actual procedure done here, i went to the one in tempe as they had a sooner appointment, i still highly recommend. up front about the costs and what to expect.

Do NOT come here for an abortion. I got the pill one, after I did it all and i had to come back to make sure it worked successfully and nothing was left in my stomach they did the ultrasound and said everything was good and nothing was left. And a month later I find myself bleeding profusely all over my bathroom and the entire trip the ER, I would not stop. Find out there that I STILL had left over stuff in my belly and I was NOT okay. The abortion was not complete. I was not only bleeding so bad but passing fat clumps the size of a softball. Had a D&C scheduled at the hospital and had got the rest removed. AND I TRIED CALLING THEM MULTIPLE TIMES, I reported it and wanted to talk to the actual owner of this place and told me they would get back to me and never would return my calls!

I went to support someone. First appointment in Tucson was fine was told she could get an IUD at time of procedure all good well. Came into this clinic with an appointment scheduled for 10:20 am was told because she's on Mercy care ahcccs she can't get the IUD mind you we were paying in cash no insurance being used but was told no not allowed so that was the first issue then sat and waited and waited and waited 7 hours went from main waiting room to 2nd waiting room where you can see everyone it's not blind who's there but when it comes to recovery no one is allowed back even though they say someone can and take it back. Doesn't matter if a person is a minor the adult can have questions and are not allowed to ask as all discharge info is given to client. I went in as support and never again just the lack of respect, compassion, empathy is not here. Also when paying they fail to give a receipt not sure why. I was already on the fence about planned parenthood and definitely will never support again.

I set up an appt as I'm having IUD complications and they turned me down even though I have insurance all because I couldn't pay what they guesstimated my cost would be right then and there. There is no sign or disclosure saying I have to pay at time of service so now I'm stuck suffering bleeding thanks to this PP

Don’t even go here — the staff make you feel very uncomfortable and will charge you for a service they DID NOT EVEN COMPLETE. I thought Planned Parenthood helped people!!!! THEY DO NOT.

10/10. Came here for an IUD with sedation after a previous doctor told me sedation would be $3000. They offer affordable sedation that my insurance even covered, and I don’t think I could have gone through the process without it. Everyone was so kind to my anxiety over the process, and they even had a wonderful Doula to talk to me throughout the experience. They even had a great playlist in the waiting room! Thank you team at PP Glendale!

I am not sure why such bad reviews. The appointment was made right away and the staff was friendly but professional. They greeted everyone that came in and made us feel comfortable. The nurse was very kind and helpful. The doctor was thorough and gave written information on everything talked about during the visit. This appointment was for my daughter (second opinion) so I am glad she gave written info just in case she forgot anything said during visit. Overall, I am impressed and I am glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter
