CVS Pharmacy

The CVS in Target in Sierra Vista is awesome! They are very sweet ladies over there! I switched all my prescriptions over there from the other CVS!

I’ve been filling with cvs for 7 years, but this specific one for probably 4 of those years. Since establishing here, there have been a few changes in staff which always makes me nervous as someone who is and also has children that will be on medication indefinitely. You get used to the pharmacist and the techs and they are familiar with your history and it’s no different than switching doctors to me when the staff changes. I stuck it out though, and I’m glad I did. I haven’t encountered one person that hasn’t treated me with anything but kindness and despite how insanely busy these guys get, they have always been really speedy for me with all my family’s prescriptions. I have to specifically name Jessica & Melissa. They are always patient, kind, helpful, and willing to look for answers if they don’t already have them for me. Again, this pharmacy does tend to be pretty busy, but these guys really work hard and you can tell they do the best they can, so it is worth the wait for me. Thanks to all staff at this location.

-0 I called to get my refill before my prescription expired, had to pick up by 12/9 according to my confirmation text msg from CVS, I’m from another state and in AZ temporarily. I called 12/9 had to leave a msg and someone called back, I asked them if they could hold it until Tuesday, they said yes, then I called back and asked if they could hold until Friday they said yes. I went to pick up Wednesday instead of Friday and they put my prescription back. Spoke with Jessica, she said it could not be refilled. I told her they shouldn’t told me they was going to hold it if they couldn’t. Jessica started being combative and disrespectful and defensive and not taking accountability for what I was told on the phone she was deflecting the blame on me, bottom line I was told it would be held and it wasn’t and Jessica the lead tech as representative for CVS did not take accountability for the misinformation. I give her 0, and the person that told me it would be done a 0. They should have checked first before giving me misinformation and Jessica 0 customer service skills!

I live in Tucson and was unable to pick-up my prescription from my usual CVS. I called them to see if I could have my prescription transfered to another location so my husband can pick it up on the way home from Sierra Vista. The employee explained to me the process and gave me information on my medication price and was very helpful. I then called it into the CVS inside target in Sierra Vista and the employee there was very friendly and helpful on getting my prescription filled. She asked when I wanted to pickup and at that time it was already 1 p.m. when I called so I figured it was going to take them awhile to fill due to short notice, so I said 3 p.m. I received a text at 1:30 p.m. stating that it was ready for pick-up!! What wonderful and speedy service! It was totally my fault for waiting til I only had 1 pill of my bp meds left. I am so thankful that I didn't have to skip a day of it which would throw me off and that I dealt with such friendly and helpful employees!

The staff is sorely undertrained. I'm either repeating myself over and over, or telling them how to do their job. They put absolutely no effort into helping the customer. It's an always oh well type of attitude. That is why I moved my prescriptions elsewhere. Only had to come here for this one due to needing a certain drug. It took three calls to get things done properly. Even then, I'm still not sure I received the right pricing. They just don't care. The customers needs are never met without fighting for it.

I have never had a pharmacy with as helpful of a staff as this one. I had a medication that was coming up as back logged, the staff kept pinging the suppliers for when it would be available next. It wasn't need immediately so I told them not to stress over it, they didn't listen and they reached out to other suppliers in other states for the medication. Two days later I got the call that it was filled, the woman that did all the calling was excited to let me know she had gotten it filled for me. I have never gone to a pharmacy that the staff will go out of their way to try and help you, a staff that recognizes my family and takes care of all of us with a smile on their face.

If there was a 0 star, I would have selected it. My wife called in and spoke to a real person not an automated attendant. The real person said that her prescription would be ready at 1pm June 14th 2022. The sign at the Pharmacy advised, due to severe staffing issues the hours of operation have changed and would be closed for lunch from 1:30 - 2:00 pm. My wife and I waited till they re-opened at 2:00 pm. after watching a team of 6 people march into the Pharmacy we were told the prescription was not ready and that we would have to come back. See the problem here is that customer service is non existent, knowing we live 45 miles away and that we've been waiting for them to open and we were told the prescription would be ready by a real person, nobody there even the Pharmacist gives a damn or is even remotely considerate of your time. Its all about their time and their agendas. Sad to say the prescription was just a box and all they had to do is put a label on it, but that was just asking to much of that 6 person team.
