Misty Lucero CNM

Amazing provider. Helped me more than any other specialist in my entire life. Im sad that she left Sierra Vista medical Group. Does anyone know if she is still practicing and if so where she works now? I would rather stick with her if possible than risk starting over with someone new. TIA. ****Edit to update she is now with Copper Queen Community Health if anyone was wondering.

I went to see her with my first pregnancy, she told me I was going to get “HUGE” and laughed while doing my measurements at my “short torso” NOT a good experience for my first pregnancy at all. She was such a mean girl I still can’t believe the way she treated me and the fact that she never admits or apologized is the worst part. I may be bullied for speaking up but she knows what she did and she knows she was wrong I hope one day she can be woman enough to admit and apologize. She told me I “ask too many questions” and wouldn’t be a good fit for this “old school type of practice” and referred me elsewhere which was actually a great idea because I ended up giving birth in Tucson at the El Rio Birthcenter and that was a beautiful experience!

I highly recommend Misty Decker for HRT consultation and patient care. There was no wait time for my appointments. Misty's staff is knowlegable and personable. Misty was awesome!! She spent a lot of time with me, providing consultation on my HRT regime and for my well woman checkup. She was so accomadating and I felt completely safe and relaxed with her. Misty is knowlegable in the area of Hormone Replacement Therapy and I would highly recommend her to others. Sierra VIsta Medical Group on the other hand is very slow on returning calls.

Misty really helped me when I had my son. I transferred from a different practice that failed to discolse some very important concerns with my pregnancy. They made notes but never disclosed it. Misty immediately took charge and got me the testing necessary to make sure my baby was healthy. She also caught the fact i was pre-eclamptic and had me admitted immediately. I had to be induced due to complications and even though she had a family emergency she was there during my sons birth. Most docs would've had me get an emergency c section but not her. She was a rockstar and my son is now a healthy 3 year old. I will use Misty for all my future birthing and feminine care needs as long as she is available (:

Really great visit. Long wait time to be seen, but once I was, she took the time to listen and give advice. Seems like a perfect fit and cares about her patients. I feel completely comfortable with her as my midwife.

She is very thorough and caring. Definitely wouldn't use anyone else in Sierra Vista.
