Sierra Vista VA Clinic

Doctor said they would help me with a specific medical problem I went in for. Made me wait 2 months for a follow up, only to tell me then that she did absolutely nothing to address the problem I went for AND that I needed to go to a civilian doctor if I actually wanted help. Vets, if you have any other option for care, do that instead. Thanks VA. Do better.

Being treated for High blood pressure, i was directed to a pharmacy to monitor my B.P. only then did i learn how incompetent sierra vista Dr. Is. His staff follows ignorance. I have never met an incompetent Doctor, until I came to the sierra vista v.a. clinic. I could change to Tucson, but I, aswell all other veterans deserve competent health care. There is no excuse, and place for an incompetent physician.

If you can handle the drive to Tucson do it…. This place employs a staff that are to afraid to advocate for patients…I switched to a OC in Tucson and most if not all my needs and concerns are being addressed… The lab people are friendly but kind of slow processing everything when it comes time to get pain meds refilled. But take the Tucson alternative if your willing to make that drive… Obviously they don’t read these….

The care team at Sierra Vista VA Clinic is exceptional Ms Sykora and her assistant, Kelly are dependable and very helpful.

Why is the staff here so unfriendly & hesitant to help. It's like they are suspicious of their clients. My neighbor refuses to go yo Sierra Vista clinic and would rather drive all the way to Tucson just to not have to deal with the attitudes here. What a shame because Tucson VA is really great.

Team 6 and the onsite Pharmacist are awesome! In the past couple years, this team has been exemplary in responding to my medical needs!! They are always timely in their responses and care.

Good luck getting your doctor. What you get is someone like Marianna R Dobbins, RN who thinks she knows it all and doesn't do squat for Service Connected Vets. Tested positive for Covid and all she wants is to tell you to go to an emergency room, drink lots of fluids and rest. What happened to the Doctor's answering their own messages The VA has gotten horrible!!!! I have been in the system over 30 years and every year it is getting worse.

First appointment went well. Organized and timely. Nurses and doctors were great. Radiology service needs to be discontinued. Either do radiology well or even fair or don't do it at all. First in line, hour and a half later, still not seen. Walk-ins only, but call ahead as the sole technician is frequently out.... Follow up 8/31...upgrade from 3 to 4 stars....third time was the charm for radiology. X-ray orders had expired. Front desk worked with the nurse and doc to get orders resubmitted. Despite the delay with the orders, I was done an hour later. Thank you for a job well done.
