Once Upon A Child- Tucson East, AZ

I used to live in western WA and loved my local Once Upon a Child. As a single dad, it was a great place to shop for my daughter! And, they were amazing through Covid-19. 2 years after I moved an hour from Tucson I was so excited to see this one open! My 9 yo daughter has been growing like a weed so we made the trek to get her clothing. It turns out there are NO Dressing Rooms, so she couldn't try anything on. And, the return policy is 7 days, no exceptions. The manager was adamant. I explained that I lived an hour away and would like to extend the return period to two or three weeks. Nein! Sad. Great quality, so-so selection (depending on sizes, you have to stop in regularly, I've found), reasonable prices, just this one bump in the road with Dressing Rooms.

Such a cute shop! I found a couple of great pieces for my son and was so impressed with their wide selection. Every item is carefully inspected before hitting the shelves, and everything is fairly priced. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it, and the customer service was absolutely wonderful. This is a cool way to build a new wardrobe on a budget for your Littles ❤️ I definitely recommend!

I have never had anything short of an amazing experience with Once Upon a Child. This location is definitely the best. They are always very kind to my family and I. They have basically supplied all the needs of our second child. Probably would have done the same for our first but we hadn’t moved to Arizona yet. The team there is always very nice, lead by the great Brie. She has remembered our first names and always greets us excitedly. She also runs the social media site and will hold items at your request. At least they used to. Might just be first come first serve now but either way. Definitely five stars for a great establishment a great team of employees and great leadership. They have been extremely helpful to my family and I’m positive they will do the same for yours.

Great place to buy clothes for growing littles. But to sell they are not the best. I have tried to sell there a couple of times. There's not a consistency with them. Items I was told needed cleaning were brought back cleaned along with newer dresses I knew my daughter hasn't worn. But still ALL items were "passed" on with a different reason than what was mentioned before. I do suggest to have someone from inspection team explain to customers or printout/written notes from inspector be given to the sellers rather than the cashier read off a screen! If there's a question about why items were passed on it should come from the inspectors not the unaware cashier (unless cashier is indeed the inspector). There are other places that will take your slightly used items and give you a better price. Try platos closet or Just Between Friends (if you want cash).

This place is amazing! The staff is wonderful to work with and take care of each and every item you bring in. That was a big deal to me as most of the items I brought in held some kind of memory. The store is super clean and well displayed of their inventory. I loved coming so much the fist time i came again the next day both days I was offered a more then fair amount for the items they took and the items they didn't they treated with gentle care and helped me out with them. I highly recommend this place and will be telling all my mom friends this is THE spot . I also got a chance to meet with the owner and she was so kind. She made me feel welcome and comfortable letting the things I once cherished go. Her staff showed that as well with they had around her. This spot is a 10/10 Thank you so much ladies !

They are transparent with items they take and don't take. Though they only took a small percentage of what I brought in, I was pleasantly surprised I got more $ than I thought I would. Brought in an item I never got to use (practically new) - the guy (assuming a boss man) thanked me and told me what they will sell it for and what they would give me. Which was nice! Clearing your babies' items is not always easy. Lots of great items ... if I didn't have stuff already I would probably be a frequent shopper 🤭

Great to see a local location here in Tucson! The staff is friendly and the store is clean. You can tell they are still building inventory as the racks above are typically empty and there's no bows, clips, or headbands at this location. Nothing in front of the registers for sale either. Im excited to see this location grow and I would LOVE to see one on the NW side of town though.

They are amazing!! We have sold and bought from them. They give you very fair prices when you sell to them and They usually take a nice amount of things too. Best part is there are no appointments needed to bring you items in to sell which is SO nice! Everyone is so friendly and nice!! They have such a nice selection of items and clothes to shop from! They have very nice quality things!! So happy with my finds there. I love the way the store is laid out too. It makes it easy to shop. It’s SO nice that they are open later hours! Open till 8 most days! They also have an Instagram which I like to follow which shows me new things they have gotten in. My favorite new store to find great things for my sweet baby!
