Planned Parenthood

This place was one of the BEST planned parenthood locations I've ever been to. The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I am happy this is where I decided to go. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I truly disliked my experience here, there was only men staff in the front and the man told me misleading information, he said document/receipts will go out to my guardians proving I had appointments there so I had left and made an appointment for another day. When I came back I spoke to another male staff and I asked about the documents/ receipts he said the information that was given to me was false and the first guy I spoke to pulled him aside mid conversation to tell the guy what to say. The whole experience made me feel embarrassed and ashamed and had no help other than the lady nurse that i saw on my last appointment.

The staff and the doctors at this clinic are very efficient and helpful. I have been going to this clinic for many years and have always been treated kindly. Even when at times I was nervous or confused they walked me throught it and educated me about which options were safe. Their services are great and helpful. Highly recommended.

I've been going here for several years already, for multiple services that they provide. Their call center answers quick and I've always got an appointment set up as early as same day or within the two weeks. The pick up service is quick and easy. When I go in person the lines are hardely ever long; they have nurses at each window. I usually get called within the 15 minutes. Every single staff I've came across were kind, respectful, compassionate and helpful. This is really one of the few places where I feel safe and comfortable.

For my first visit (Sep. 2017) I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and I did not get called in until an hour after my scheduled appointment, once I was called they only took 10 minutes to briefly explain the medication and it felt rushed. The second visit (April 2018) I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment, the staff at the counter was friendly and welcoming but the nurse (I believe named Virginia) make me feel unwelcome as soon as she started talking to me. The was she talked and explained things was rude and I did not feel comfortable asking her question but I did anyways and the responses were judgmental. I did not feel comfortable talking to her and I wanted to leave immediately. Overall, most of the staff at the counter seemed friendly but they are a bit slow and the nurse Virginia made the experience uncomfortable, I won't come back to this Health Center.

Everyone at this clinic is kind and professional. I did not have to wait an unreasonable amount of time. The doctor on duty did a very good job at making me comfortable, and the nurse explained everything very well, everyone including the receptionists are very helpful. My insurance did not cover the costs for me but they set me up with a program to cover the costs for me so I really appreciate that they were able to do that. I would highly recommend this clinic.
