Our reciprocal IVF journey began in January 2025, but the seeds were planted even earlier, in late 2024. That’s when my partner and I first met Dr. Shannel Adams in Portland. From that initial conversation, we felt heard, understood, and empowered to explore our options as we pursued our dream of starting a family together. Sometime after our first meetings, Dr. Adams accepted a new role 150 miles north. There was no hesitation—my partner and I knew we wanted her expertise and compassionate care to continue guiding us. We made the decision to follow her, believing that the right team would make all the difference in our fertility journey. As we transitioned our care, we found an incredible supportive network at PNW Fertility. Alongside Dr. Adams, we met Laura, Anna, and especially Shanita—each of whom has played an essential role in our experience. Shanita, in particular, has been a constant presence at every appointment and/or procedure, whether in Bellevue or Seattle. Her patience, kindness, and professional demeanor has made the hardest days more bearable. During moments of sadness, she has been a comforting shoulder to lean on and a steady voice of reassurance. Our journey has not been without its challenges. The emotional and physical toll of IVF is significant, but having a dedicated team has meant we never felt alone. Shanita’s unwavering support—her attentive presence, her willingness to answer every question, email, panicked phone call about dosages and her ability to bring comfort in difficult times—has made all the difference for us. As we prepare for this next cycle, there’s a mixture of hope and uncertainty. While we can’t predict the outcome, we’re buoyed by the knowledge that we have an extraordinary team at PNW Fertility behind us. Dr. Adams and Shanita have brought us closer to our dream of building a family. Their compassion and dedication make us feel supported and optimistic about what’s to come. N + K

I can’t even begin to express how incredible this team and my experience with PNWF has been, from start to finish. I worked with Dr. Lamb and she is one of the most amazing human beings I have ever met. Her entire team and the whole office staff have been nothing short of exceptional. The fertility journey is not an easy one, and every person from PNWF has brought me so much comfort and professionalism, and most importantly, an incredible outcome. BEWARE! If you want to do egg freezing, I would strongly encourage you to look somewhere else. After being acquired by Ivy Fertility, they have unilaterally decided that they are not a "long term" storage facility for egg freezing, which means that they arbitrarily increase storage prices "exponentially" after a few years of having your eggs there in order to push you out - because, you know, egg freezing is typically meant to be short term, right Completely unethical behavior at the very least, perhaps even illegal? Their "short term focus" to egg freezing is not mentioned anywhere in their page (check it out yourself!), nor was it mentioned to me when I decided to work with them. But now I am coerced to pay high amounts of money (*much* higher than market price) or risk egg transportation - for which they also require a liability waiver.

There is no better clinic out there. From their full-service, high quality lab to their genuinely caring practitioners. Yes, they are busy as infertility rates are rising but they do a fantastic job at giving individualized care to each patient and never leave you feeling alone. You can always get ahold of someone when you need to and they’re more than happy to answer your questions. Physicians always do the big important exams (and of course the surgeries/procedures) and advanced practice providers do other examinations - this was comforting to me. Nurses are available to talk with, give results, and answer questions outside of appointments. My prior two clinics couldn’t find my reason for infertility but PNWF discovered it quickly. I ended up needing IVF and the protocol was so individualized to me and my body. I had 42 eggs retrieved and did not go into OHHS (very impressive). This clinic must be one of the top fertility clinics in the country with how closely they adhere to data of new research and science. I wrote this review before my IVF transfer and before I knew I was pregnant. I’m due in July after my first attempt at IVF. To say I’m impressed by PNWF is an understatement. I will forever be grateful for their attention to detail and their devotion to quality patient care.

I saw Dr. Shahine at PNWF for recurrent pregnancy loss. Although I only met with her twice, she took her time and did a very thorough assessment and we collaboratively came up with a plan that I felt comfortable with based on her expertise. I went in for frequent monitoring, as often as I wanted, and ultrasounds were conducted by the excellent ARNPs who were incredibly warm, supportive, and understanding. Dr. Shahine's skillful nursing team was just an email away and available for any and all questions, typically getting back to me in just a few hours. Going to a fertility clinic can be scary, but I highly recommend going here.

Did egg freezing. Most sorted medical treatment I’ve ever received. All departments talk to each other. Everything was transparent, timely, and made me feel taken care of. All the staff know what they are doing and are incredibly friendly. Not sure how the freezing experience will be with them over the next couple of years, but would highly recommend to fellow women.

Although we wanted to give PNWF a chance, after 4 appointments and interactions with staff, they have made it impossible. Being an LGBT couple, Dr. Broughton was what initially drew us to the clinic. After my first appointment, I was told by her team and billing that I needed to figure out what procedures are needed for insurance coverage and if something wasn’t done, it would be my fault. When my insurance told me the clinic needed to confirm, I was given the runaround from her team and billing with vague answers as to what was needed for coverage. Coming from another clinic in Texas where the staff took care of insurance coverage and navigated the process with you was a startling comparison to this one. Then, at my next appointment, I was called the Friday before and told my appointment was at 11am. I arrive on time and then was told it was actually 1PM. Considering I have a job and a life outside this clinic, having to wait for 2 hours before my appointment was frustrating and I made that known to the staff. While I was still there, front desk staff did not mention that I was supposed to complete an ultrasound in addition to bloodwork and HSG that day and I was told to return to the clinic at the correct time, where my ultrasound was not mentioned at all. During my blood draw, the technician did not know what she was doing and was going to redraw all my labs even though I was only there for one lab. It wasn’t until I insisted that she check with my team that she drew the correct lab work. Had I not mentioned anything, I would have been responsible for paying for extra unnecessary bloodwork. At my next appointment with Dr. Broughton, I was told that she was informed of an “incident” with the front desk and that my wife and I needed to be respectful to her staff and that she has a wonderful team who essentially are not responsible for the misinformation or lack of information provided. Upon discussing my missed ultrasound, she essentially blamed my wife and I for not mentioning the ultrasound, when the entire purpose of front desk staff are to check you in and advise on your procedures for the appointment. When I mentioned the bloodwork issue, she had no concern at all. After bringing up billing and insurance coverage, she told me I should be “empowered” to confirm coverage myself since my plan is an out of state one and her team isn’t familiar with it. The clinic staff does not know what they’re doing and will schedule you for double procedures, tell you the incorrect appointment time, or miss an item completely and will turn around and blame it on you. Instead of having a doctor who understood my wife and I’s concerns, and reassured us that things would improve, we were told to look elsewhere which we will be doing happily. The staff and the doctor lack empathy, accountability, professionalism and organization and are only concerned with how they can make money. I would not recommend this clinic to someone I cared about and would advise against proceeding if you care about a successful pregnancy.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive our second child for a year and a half when we first met with Dr. Lamb at PNW Fertility in December 2024. Unfortunately, that initial consultation was the only time I ever saw or spoke to Dr. Lamb directly. We went through a failed IUI in January 2025 and then experienced a chemical pregnancy in February 2025. Throughout this entire process, I received no real support or follow-up from the clinic except emails from the nurses who gave me updates on my HCG levels. There was zero communication from Dr. Lamb herself, which felt incredibly isolating and disheartening during such an emotional time. In June 2025, I became pregnant naturally. I knew I would eventually receive all my prenatal care with my regular OB, but I figured PNW Fertility would help me monitor things in the beginning and then do a soft hand-off. Instead, I was told the clinic does not support “spontaneous pregnancies” and was essentially dropped as a patient. Despite my previous chemical pregnancy, all I was given was a “courtesy” HCG draw and a “good luck.” My experience with PNW Fertility was truly horrible. This was my first time working with a fertility clinic, and the complete lack of compassion and communication made an already difficult journey so much harder. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone looking for supportive, caring fertility treatment.
